Chelsea’s official Twitter account have been caught up in a not-so-rare player mix up between Belgian striker Michy Batshuayi and young midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah during last night’s 1-1 draw at Anfield.
The game has entered the final minutes of the game when Batshuayi was set to be subbed on for the Blues, replacing Diego Costa upfront. However, Chelsea’s Twitter may have seen it a bit cross-eyed as they accidentally thought Chalobah was going to be the next player to come off the bench.

It isn’t the first time there has been a mix up between the two players, as even commentators in the beginning of the season kept calling Chalobah as Batshuayi and the other way around – constantly!
And even during this very same week, Batshuayi posted a picture of a photo where Chalobah was marked as Batshuayi instead of himself – and wonders if the mix up between the two players is ever going to end!
Is this gonna end one day bro @chalobah 🤔 ? … 😭😂 pic.twitter.com/aTdlJBlb5v
