Chelsea winger Eden Hazard didn’t enjoy the greatest of season’s for the Blues last season, as his poor performances along with other key players resulted our worst campaign during the time under Roman Abramovich’s ownership of the club.
Hazard has however bounced back with style as he has scored ten goals and assisted three in the league this term, becoming a key factor in Chelsea’s title hunt.
The 26-year-old Belgian admits his display weren’t good enough last season, and appreciates the confidence manager Antonio Conte has brought by coming into the team this season.
“Last season everyone knows I was not good enough. But you learn from your mistakes. I gave everything to come back and now I am in my level.
So I started this season well – fit, with no injuries and it is better to play when you are ready. I want to enjoy being on the pitch. So this is the key.
It is always a difficult to come back after a bad season, but the boss changed something and tried to give us more confidence.”
