Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma has made a shocking admission stating that he could be set for an exit from Stamford Bridge this summer, should his playing time in the Blues outfit remain this low.
The Frenchman has only recently returned from a long-term injury, which kept him out of the competitive football for almost a year, and it’s been hard for Antonio Conte to suddenly include the 22-year-old into the Blues defence which has been in a superb form throughout this season.
Chelsea’s back-three of Cesar Azpilicueta, David Luiz and Gary Cahill has only resulted into six conceded goals in the last 18 league games, with Chelsea only conceding a total of 17 goals this campaign – the second fewest with Tottenham conceding just 16.
Zouma could be moving out of the club for a loan spell that would last from the beginning to the end of the 2017/18 season, as a young player like him needs more playing time to keep up his development.
“We’ll have to see how the second half of the season goes. The team is the priority – first of all, to be champions!
After that, yes, we’ll have to talk, because I’m young, and it’s at my age that you have to play the most.
For the moment, I’m waiting, I’m happy the team is winning, even if at a moment in time, I’m going to have to play if I want to achieve my objectives and get back into the France team.

Zouma is under a contract at Chelsea until 2019, and has made a total of 51 appearances for the Blues since joining the club in the summer of 2014.
