Chelsea legend Didier Drogba has hinted that Everton striker Romelu Lukaku could be very keen on returning to his former club this summer.
The Belgium international has been netting goals for fun this term, as he already has 24 goals to his name in the league and is the number one favourite for Premier League’s Golden Boot award.

Chelsea have reportedly showed constant interest on brining back the 23-year-old for the past year and are hoping to find the right price for his services.
Lukaku has already turned down a contract extension with the Toffees and is hoping to achieve bigger things than fighting for Europa League qualification.
Drogba believes Lukaku still has a lot to prove at Chelsea, who he signed for at the age of 18 in 2011 – failing to make a real impression.
“If he comes to Chelsea it will be great for the club.
He knows the club already and I think he wants to prove he can be successful here, he didn’t get the chance to do it.
Chelsea is his club since he was young, so why not?
He wants to be the best. He’s really working hard to become the best.”

Of course, Everton still have realistic chances to claim European football for next season, but even if they’d qualify, it’s unlikely that Lukaku would stay with the Merseyside outfit.
