Eden Hazard drops huge hint on his future plans at Chelsea

Chelsea winger Eden Hazard has dropped a major hint suggesting he would stay at Chelsea for next season and snub Real Madrid should they make an offer for him this summer.

According to him he’s well settled in London claiming it’s not ‘as bad as you’d think’ there.

The Belgium international has been in terrific form this season rejuvenating himself from the previous campaign that didn’t prove to be as successful as hoped.

He already has 14 league goals to his name – the same amount that rewarded him with the PFA Player of the Year award in Chelsea’s title-winning campaign in 2015 – which has naturally attracted interest from Zinedine Zidane’s side.

“It’s not unusual here in London, it’s not as bad as you think.

Am I playing better than in 2014-15? Impossible to say. I’m enjoying myself on the pitch – that’s for sure.

Can you be a top player without scoring 15 goals? Of course. For me, Iniesta deserves the Ballon d’Or 15 times. He never scored a lot.

Being a top player is also performing in the top games and winning titles every year too.”

Chelsea are planning to offer Hazard a contract extension at the end of the season to ward off Real Madrid, as the Belgian is an essential part of Antonio Conte’s plans for next season’s Champions League contest.
