Chelsea legend Frank Lampard has hailed Blues winger Eden Hazard as the best player in the Premier League following his great form for the West London club in the past week.
The Belgium international suffered a huge dip in form last season, but bounced back with style as he has already scored 14 goals and provided five assists in 29 league appearances this term.

In Chelsea’s previous three games Hazard has scored three goals for his side, assisting once, as the league leaders push to secure the title with seven games left to be played for.
Interviewed by Goals on Sunday, Lampard didn’t hesitate one bit as he was told to pick his best player in the league, naming the 26-year-old straight away.
“[Hazard is the] best player in the league for me at the moment.
I’ve seen a new maturity from him this year. Not just on the pitch, off the pitch.
He’s doing more interviews, speaking English, those things are important.
When you become the level he’s at, he’s captained Belgium a couple times.
There were times last year when he was so confident in his ability he would beat players twice. Now there is a directness to his play.”

Chelsea will face Manchester United away next Sunday, with an FA Cup semi-final against Tottenham coming up six days after that.
