Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has confirmed that Eden Hazard has no interest on leaving Stamford Bridge this summer, as he’s set to stay and play a part in the club’s Champions League challenge next season.
The Belgian winger is back to his best after a poor last term, and is therefore being even more strongly linked to a move to the Spanish capital, where Real Madrid are reportedly prepared to break the world record transfer fee in advance to sign the Chelsea star.
However, Courtois – Hazard’s team-mate for both club and country – has claimed that the 26-year-old has no intention of leaving the club at this stage of his career, just like he doesn’t have any intention of moving away himself.
“Eden is not affected by it.
They are just rumours. He is just calm. He knows that he is important to Chelsea, like I do.
We are both very happy to be here. This [Manchester City] was my 100th game for Chelsea and I hope for many more.
Eden is one of the best players in the world.
Chelsea have ambitions to win the Champions League again and always look to play for the title.
If you want to do that, you need the biggest players and he is obviously a big part of that.”

Hazard has been on flying form this season, scoring 13 goals and assisting five times in the league this term. Winner.
