Who will captain Chelsea against Tottenham today?

Antonio Conte has a huge dilemma ahead of the FA Cup semi-final against Tottenham this afternoon, as injury concerns are likely to rule out Gary Cahill from the starting eleven – and possibly the whole matchday squad.

The English centre-back has captained the Blues practically the entire season since John Terry’s place has been mainly on the bench throughout the campaign.

Terry-Cahill
Captain and vice-captain Terry and Cahill are both set to miss out from today’s starting eleven.

And now Cahill is a major doubt for the game due to a mystery illness that also affected Victor Moses, Diego Costa and Marcos Alonso in recent weeks – not as seriously though.

But, with Terry likely to remain on the bench and youngster Nathan Ake tipped to replace Cahill, Conte will have to find a new vice-captain for today.

Eden Hazard has already captained Belgium’s national side.

Two candidates rise the highest from the pile: Eden Hazard and David Luiz.

Luiz has great leadership skills and his defensive position is also an advantage, while Hazard has already earned captaincy with Belgium’s national side.

Who would you give the armband to in today’s huge clash at Wembley Stadium?
