Antonio Conte wants Andreas Christensen, Kurt Zouma switch

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is reportedly planning include loan star Andreas Christensen to his next season’s first-team plans, while Kurt Zouma could be offered out on loan to make room for the Danish centre-back, Daily Mail reports.

The 21-year-old has made a huge impact at his loan side Borussia Monchengladbach during the season and Chelsea have assured that they have no intentions of selling him – even if the Bundesliga side would break their club transfer record in order to land him permanently.

Premier League clubs such as Southampton, Manchester City, Liverpool and Leicester City have also shown interest on him, but Chelsea’s staff want the international defender to continue his development at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea will lose their veteran defender John Terry at the end of the season, while Kurt Zouma is also likely to leave to get more playing time.

Southampton skipper Virgil Van Dijk and Napoli key defender Kalidou Koulibaly have topped the shortlist of possible reinforcements to the Chelsea defence this summer.

Of course, those two would be great additions to the squad, but Conte will have to remember he also has club’s own young stars like Christensen and Nathan Ake in his disposal.
