Chelsea clinched the Premier League title last night in their colossal 1-0 victory over West Bromwich, leaving Tottenham mathematically out of the title contest.
The parties began straight away once the referee had blown the full-time whistle – with Michy Batshuayi’s late goal making all the difference in the tie – and they didn’t seem to stop until very late in evening.
Even Antonio Conte was an hour and a half late from his press conference that’s usually scheduled to be held right after the game, and quite soon kidnapped by Diego Costa and David Luiz to come back and celebrate.

The Italian explained him being late because the players and staff had poured so much champagne and beer on him that his suit was completely ruined, forcing him to put on his tracksuit to be able to show up in front of the media.
“They waited for me after the celebrations with the fans, and put champagne and beer on me.
I think I have to change my suit because my suit is a disaster now. I’m wearing the tracksuit, but I think I’m living a moment very important.”

Despite the players ruining his outfit, Conte suggested that partying as hard as you could would be well deserved and rightful.
“I’m enjoying this moment a lot. When you put a lot of enthusiasm and passion and hours into your work, a lot of time not sleeping for your work, it’s right to celebrate and enjoy a moment like this.
Enjoy it with the fans, the staff, with the club. It’s great. This is a dream come true. For sure, it’s a dream.”

The manager then turned on to talk about the season’s key moments, his relationship with Michael Emenalo and Roman Abramovich, until David Luiz and Diego Costa stepped in to take their manager away to party, as they cried “No more, no more!” to the journalists in the room.
