Cesc Fabregas breaks yet another Premier League record

The Blues midfielder was flawless in last night’s 3-0 victory over Middlesbrough last night, as he assisted two goals and was deservedly named as the Man of the Match to help Chelsea take a huge step towards their fifth league title in the club’s history.

Cesc Fabregas has thus become the first ever player to record ten or more assists in six different Premier League campaigns.

The Spaniard international has obviously started collecting these assists since his Arsenal days, but we can proudly confirm him to have broken that record in Chelsea blue, where we wish him to stay for many more years to come!

Cesc Fabregas opens up about his difficult season, future plans

The 30-year-old hasn’t started games as often this term as he has got used to starting in his previous seasons at the club, but his contribution to the team has been critical with his 11 assists and four goals, and could even be rewarded with a new contract to tie him up at the Bridge until 2020.
