Chelsea loanee Tammy Abraham has made history by sweeping a triple of awards to his name as he’s won Bristol City’s Player of the Year, Young Player of the Year and Top Goalscorer awards all at once for his this season’s achievements.
The Championship side today announced on their official website that they have voted Abraham for the winner of the two POTY trophies following his sensational performances and 26 goals in all competitions.
No one at the club had triumphed all three awards at once before.
The 19-year-old hit-man is set to be awarded with a new contract by the Blues following his static form in the second-flight, as many Premier League clubs have started monitoring the player’s situation at Stamford Bridge, hoping to land Abraham themselves.
In addition to his great performances in the Bristol City outfit – helping them to avoid Championship relegation – he has also made himself a regular starter in the England U21 national side.
It’s yet to be confirmed whether Abraham will stay at Chelsea next season, or be loaned out to a Premier League side.
