According to Goal, Chelsea could cash in on their young Brazilian winger Kenedy this summer, as the player is desperate for more playing time with his future at Stamford Bridge very unclear.
The 21-year-old was part of Jose Mourinho and Guus Hiddink’s first-team plans last season, as Kenedy was given a fair amount of playing time thanks to his versatility and Chelsea’s unsuccessful campaign.
This season hasn’t been as great for him though, as his one-year loan deal with Watford came to a premature end in January due to an injury which made him return to the Blues squad for the remainder of the season.
Kenedy only made one outing for the Hornets and came on for 20 minutes in Chelsea’s FA Cup tie against Brentford to secure his stay at the West London side for the rest of the season.
Kenedy hasn’t played a competitive game since and is now determined to find himself a club where he’d get more regular playing time, with a lot of clubs reportedly keen on his signature.
