Southampton centre-back Virgil Van Dijk wants to join Chelsea this summer, according to the Telegraph.
The Saints skipper has been strongly linked with a move away from St. Mary’s Stadium with the Blues, Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool are circling around him.
However, Chelsea have been named as the favourites to land the £50m rated Netherlands international as the player has reportedly made up his mind about his future club.
Van Dijk believes that a move to the upcoming Premier League champions would suit him the best at this point of his career.
While bringing in the 25-year-old defender to replace departing John Terry, Chelsea are also tipped to send the 22-year-old Kurt Zouma out on loan, as he still hasn’t fully recovered from his lon-term knee injury, and Antonio Conte believes that a loan move would be the best option for him.
