Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante has returned to first-team training following a hamstring injury that the Frenchman suffered during the last international break three weeks ago.
The defensive midfielder’s absence has made a big influence to the Blues side, with the team conceding as many as eight goals during their last four games. The fans and pundits have raised concerns over the current midfield partnership between Cesc Fabregas and Tiemoue Bakayoko, and many fans would love to see Kante back in action as soon as possible.
However, according to Antonio Conte, Kante will not be rushed back to action ahead of Chelsea’s trip to Bournemouth this Saturday, as the manager doesn’t want to take any risks with the player so important for the team.
“He’s progressing well. I am happy, I saw him in a good physical condition.
We need to keep calm and find the right moment to put him in the team. Now it will be very easy to tell him to play.
We must pay attention and to find the best solution for him. He’s ready.”

Kante may not feature against Bournemouth this weekend, but news of his early return are more than great to hear. Chelsea will be hosting Manchester United next week, and the side really needs their midfield engine for such a big clash.
