Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has received a big praise from Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone. The Argentinian tactician believes his side have never faced a team with Chelsea’s intensity.
The Blues were deservedly victorious in the two side’s last week’s meeting. Alvaro Morata headed Chelsea level after Antoine Griezmann’s penalty goal with super substitute Michy Batshuayi clinching the three points home with the last kick of the game.

Simeone, talking to a Spanish radio station Cadena Ser, says Chelsea’s brave performance at Wanda Metropolitano shows exactly how well the Premier League teams are currently developing in Europe.
“We had never faced a team with the intensity of Chelsea.
We struggled to press them effectively. We improved when (Antoine) Griezmann went on (Tiemoue) Bakayoko and left David Luiz free. But we were imprecise.
The English teams have improved so it’s much more open. There is less margin for error now.”

Chelsea, who are now on top of the Champions League’s Group CÂ with six points, will host Atletico Madrid in the reverse fixture on December 5th.
