Michy Batshuayi received a nice comment from former Blues striker Diego Costa after the Belgian international netted twice against Watford on Saturday.
Chelsea were in deep trouble against the Hornets yesterday, as they found themselves trailing 2-1 at home with just 20 minutes left to play. Thanks to Batshuayi’s superb header on the 71th minute, the Blues were back even and full of confidence to get the game flowing again. Cesar Azpilicueta headed the Blues 3-2 in front soon after, with ‘the Batsman’ nodding in his second of the day with the last kick of the game.
After the game Batshuayi went on to Instagram to post a picture of himself celebrating his second goal, and received a positive comment from Costa.
“⚽⚽ top Michi,†Costa said.
The current Atletico Madrid forward has commented on Batshuayi’s Instagram posts before – often quite confusingly – but this one shows how he’s still a fan of the club and a good friend of the Belgian.
