Alvaro Morata suggests Antonio Conte to bring Real Madrid playmaker to Chelsea

Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata has hinted the Blues boss Antonio Conte to go for Real Madrid’s star playmaker Isco in a recent interview for Cadena SER.

Isco was being linked to a move away from Santiago Bernabeu in the past transfer windows due to lack of playing time, but the Spain international has played a crucial role under Zinedine Zidane’s team this season following Gareth Bale’s injury problems and James Rodriguez’s move to reign Bundesliga champions Bayern Munchen.

Morata believes that his former club team-mate and current national team partner would be a great signing for Chelsea. The 25-year-old Blues striker has enjoyed linking up with the likes of Cesc Fabregas and Eden Hazard this term, but would see Isco as an improvement to the quite narrow squad of ours.

I would take [Isco] to Chelsea now when I return [from international duty].

But I think that right now he has one of the most important roles at Madrid. In the national team he is also key.

He is the most important player at Real Madrid and in the national team.

He changes the games, he makes the difference. He dances with the ball. Furthermore, he is my friend.

Isco has only missed one game this season for Real, and would be a huge loss for the side should he decide to leave the club this January. Despite the reign La Liga champions’ poor form this season Isco is thought to be enjoying his time at the club and is unlikely to leave at the moment.

However, the idea of an Isco-Morata partnership with Hazard and Fabregas also in the side is quite mouth-watering!
