Chelsea’s young loan striker Tammy Abraham has opened up about his long-term plans on his playing career ahead of his first call-up to England’s senior team.
Abraham is currently on loan at Swansea City, where the 20-year-old forward has got to play a key role for the side. Swans manager Paul Clement has started Abraham in ten of their 11 Premier League games this term, with the Chelsea academy starlet bagging four goals and providing one assist.
Abraham sat down with England national side’s head coach Gareth Southgate on Monday ahead of the Three Lions’ friendlies against Germany (on Friday 10th, at Wembley Stadium) and against Brazil (on Tuesday 14th, also at Wembley Stadium). The striker even revealed that he first heard of his call-up via Sky Sports news.

Talking about his future plans on his rising career, Abraham is said to have confirmed his aim is to be part of Chelsea’s first-team squad next term. The former Bristol City striker says that hte intention of his loan spell with Swansea is to show Conte he deserves to be part of his team.

With Michy Batshuayi’s Chelsea future especially open to question, Abraham could have a serious shot for a role at his beloved parent club next season.
