Ruben Loftus-Cheek to make senior debut for England against Germany

According to Sky sources, Chelsea’s academy product and Crystal Palace loan star Ruben Loftus-Cheek is set to make his senior debut for England tomorrow night.

The Three Lions host Germany in a fierce friendly at Wembley Stadium on Friday, and the 21-year-old midfielder could be named to the starting line-up by England boss Gareth Southgate.

England are missing key midfielders such as Tottenham’s Dele Alli and Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson on this international break, which will give Loftus-Cheek a brilliant chance to shine for his coutry.

Loftus-Cheek has already made himself known at England’s U21 level, but has only now received his first call-up to the senior side.

Swansea City loanee Tammy Abraham has also been given the nod for the first time in his career after impressive performances for the Welsh Premier League side.

International breaks might usually sound very boring, but with these two Chelsea-made youngsters looking likely to make their England debuts, it certainly turns up the interest! Come on lads!
