Chelsea are interested in bringing in Adama Traore from Middlesbrough, with reports emerging that the Blues are front runners for his signature next summer.
The winger has been immense in the Championship this season, racking up goals and assists, but even more impressively the numbers in the dribbling column. With five goals and ten assists in the Championship and a WhoScored rating of 7.74, Traore has the highest rating of all the players in the English second division.
He has left defenders for dead and has contributed positively to Middlesbrough’s efforts to reach the top division again.
According to the Sunday People, the former Barcelona academy player has drawn interest from Stamford Bridge, with Chelsea willing to offer him top flight football next season. The report says Chelsea have to ready an amount of £30 million for the 22-year old’s services as they seek to beef up their attack with some young blood.
