As Twitter user “Sid Celery” points out, this is so far the sole acknowledgement there of the Blues’ victory in the nation’s most prestigious domestic youth tournament. One tweet, with an almost sarcastic clap emoji at the end of it.

It’s pretty bizarre, given it’s their own creation, and has seen hundreds of matches played up and down the country since the Autumn when it began. You’d think promoting it would be high on their agenda.
They did about fifty tweets for the FA Peoples Cup event that happened at the weekend – is the Youth Cup so irrelevant in comparison?
Perhaps, now Chelsea have won their 5th in a row, it’s getting a little dull for the other teams.
Maybe we will let one of them have a turn winning it next year?
