Chelsea manager target develops tension with club president and seems likely to move next summer

Chelsea manager target Maurizio Sarri is set to quit Napoli for Chelsea after increasing tension with club president Aurelio De Laurentiis.

As per Football Italia, the Napoli coach is not enjoying the best of relationships with De Laurentiis after the president of the club criticized him publicly last week following the debacle against Fiorentina, when his side let go of the title chase with Juventus.

The relationship does not seem set to be mended after the pair tell close confidants they will separate in the coming transfer window. De Laurentiis’ main issue with Sarri is how he under utilized a big pool of players and and is quoted by Football Italia as saying Sarri could be 300% better than he is now.

Sarri who has two years remaining on his current deal in Naples has a clause that permits him to leave the club if another club pays an amount of €8m for his services, and Borussia Dortmund, as per BVB Buzz, AS Monaco and Chelsea are said to be closest to landing him if he leaves.
