Chelsea are willing to spend big on Paris Saint Germain forward Edison Cavani after reports picked up momentum that Alvaro Morata has agreed personal terms with Juventus.
Morata has not looked a player fully confident of playing at Chelsea for the long term after his poor return of just 15 goals in all competitions this season following a mega transfer from Real Madrid last summer.
His desperation to leave Stamford Bridge could be marked by his agreement with Juventus for a summer move, pending an agreement between the clubs as well.
But Chelsea will not waste time in finding replacements for him, and Metro now report through Tuttosport that they are already planning a move for Cavani.
Cavani will represent a better investment with his 28 goals this season in the league alone contributing vitally to PSG’s win of the Ligue 1.
The 31-year old has not been the happiest in Paris, after the his side brought in Neymar for a world record fee last summer, and is willing to move to another European force, as he feels he now lives in shadows of the Brazil hotshot, as the Sun reports that he could leave for Man City next summer.
