Chelsea superstar will not join Premier League opposition with heart set on Champions League winners

Chelsea could lose Thibaut Courtois this summer after his four year stay with the club, but confirmation from England says he will not sign for any local rival.

There were reports that the Belgium number one is being considered to step in at Anfield next summer to replace the error prone goalkeepers, but that has been refuted.

Liverpool’s Loris Karius rose to world fame after his errors in the Champions League final against Real Madrid. His two errors directly handed the win and title to the Spanish giants and has effectively ended his career under Jurgen Klopp. However, after a few days, Liverpool are said to be interested in Courtois according to Metro.

But Simon Johnson of the Evening Standard says Courtois will not join any English club

The former Atletico Madrid shot stopper is expected to pen a new deal at Stamford Bridge, with only one year remaining on his current deal, but he has remained defiant and has yet to commit to the Blues, although hintin his future will be sorted after the World Cup.

Nizaar Kinsella of Goal also suggests Courtois could end up in Madrid with his family still there after his playing days with Atletico.
