Reece James won the Academy player of the year award on Thursday day night after an exceptional season with Jody Morris’ boys, and he celebrated with this post on Instagram.
James is probably underrated as a youth product just because attacking talents like Callum Hudson-Odoi can grab the attention of casual fans with their highlights, but ask anyone who watches the youth teams and they’ll tell you this is richly deserved.
