Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano is today reporting that Juventus are interested PSV’s Santiago Arias as a summer transfer.
Given Chelsea’s need for a player in that position, there’s no reason they shouldn’t also be making enquiries into his availability.
The Colombian is 26 and just coming into his prime, and his dynamic attacking ability would be a perfect upgrade on the disappointing Davide Zappacosta.
Victor Moses has been great at times, but he can only realistically play as wing back. If we want to return to a standard full back, we will need more options in that position.

The advantage of buying players from the Dutch league is that the clubs there just don’t have the financial muscle to hold Premier League clubs to ransom like those in Spain and Italy.
The downside is these players haven’t been tested against top players. But when they’ve won the league’s player of the year awards – as Arias has – you can be sure they’re got the quality to step up to a new division.
