Chelsea are in a hot race to sign AS Roma goalkeeper Allison Becker, with Real Madrid and Liverpool but according to Marca in Spain, the Blues are in the lead.
The Premier League side are only one of top European clubs eyeing the Brazil international after he great performances for Roma in the Serie A and most especially in the Champions League last season, when his side went as far as the semi final of the competition.
He was instrumental in the Serie A outfit’s progress to the last four and their top four reach in the Italian top flight.
Chelsea, after accepting they might lose Thibaut Courtois to Real Madrid this summer, have taken giant steps in signing Allison, currently on duty with Brazil at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
The report by Marca, via the Daily Express says Roma are ready to give the green light to Chelsea to sign the goalkeeper this summer although the player wishes to join Real instead.
