Chelsea’s January signing Emerson Palmieri has appeared in the rumor mill only a few months after completing a long term transfer to Chelsea.
The left full back was signed as an emergency back up option for Marcos Alonso as last season progressed but was restricted to the bench for most times in the remainder of the season. Palmieri failed to stamp his authority in the Chelsea squad following his signing from AS Roma and is almost a forgotten man at the club.
But TMW say Juventus are after the defender and are currently ‘surveying’ his situation at Chelsea. The report says Juventus are ready to make a formal approach for Palmieri who now bids to fight more for the position on the left with Marcos Alonso.
The 23-year old played five times under Antonio Conte, of which three were when Alonso was suspended. It is unthinkable that the Blues will let hom go barely six months after signing him but they have also been linked with other left full backs after Palmieri arrived at the club.
The Mirror say Danny Rose and Kurzawa are targets for the London-based club.
