Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has picked up some scars on his hand after Belgium’s international friendly with Portugal on Sunday.
The shot stopper was involved in a nasty clash with Portugal winger Ricardo Quaresma as both countries tested their strength against formidable opposition before the World Cup.

Despite the concerns Courtois lasted the entire 90 minutes of the game and would be considered for their last friendly against Egypt before embarking on the World Cup journey in Russia.
It was nothing like a friendly with several players walking away with bruises and Manchester City defender Vincent Kompany also walking off the pitch with an injury that could scupper his World Cup hopes.
Courtois’s future with Chelsea is still unclear after the former Atletico Madrid goalkeeper decided not to commit to the Blues until after the World Cup. Most Chelsea players have not done so including his international teammate and Chelsea talisman Eden Hazard.
