The alarming habit that is keeping Maurizio Sarri busy while he awaits Chelsea deal

Chelsea are involved in perhaps one of the most complicated and engaging manager transfer sagas of all time after their search of Maurizio Sarri keep hitting snags.

The former Napoli head coach has been linked to Chelsea for several months now and after some very positive strides in making the move to Stamford Bridge, from the Italian Serie A side appointing Carlo Ancelloti to Sarri being relegated to the back by the club, one would have thought Chelsea would have been in later stages of their transfer business with the tactician in charge.

But it’s been anything but.

Via Sport Witness, Il Mattino has revealed that Sarri is ‘devouring dozens of cigarettes a day’ as he waits for his release by Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis. Having firmed up personal terms with Chelsea, all Sarris is waiting for is an agreement between Chelsea and his current side, as Napoli demand €8m for his release, Chelsea do not want to pay anything more than €4m.
