Chelsea would be buoyed by the news emerging from Manchester United that Anthony Martial will reject a new offer from the club as he pushed to leave for another this summer.
The Red Devils are hoping to tempt the forward to remain at the club, although there are strong reports indicating that the player is not in Jose Mourinho’s plans, with the Portuguese manager willing to allow him leave the cub if the offer is right.
That offer is said to be in the region on £89.3 million, and that’s according to Duncan Castles of the Sunday Times, but suitors are pegged back by the mention of that amount. Martial is still young and continues to show promise at 22 years, but Mourinho is not allowing him to play the way he might want and has been struggling in the last couple of seasons, eventually missing out on the France squad that won the World Cup in Russia.
Chelsea and Bayern Munich are willing to save his career and give him regular minutes on the pitch as the Blues prepare for life without Eden Hazard, as per the Mail, with the Belgium captain, seemingly on his way to Real Madrid this summer.
