Chelsea are reportedly in the hunt for Bundesliga star Christian Pulisic and are ready to fend off interest from Liverpool as they close in on the £65 million-rated youngster.
Pulisic has attracted interest from several top clubs in Europe, and it’s no surprise to see Premier League teams named among them, given he’s publicly expressed his ambition to play in England one day.
The Mirror reports that Chelsea are looking to capitalize on the sudden halt in contract renewal talks between Pulisic and Borussia Dortmund and are willing to pay the required amount to prise him away from the Bundesliga outfit.
However, the Evening Standard say Chelsea will not make an official bid for 19-year old unless they manage to sell Willian this summer, as both players will be key candidates to start on the right side of the Blues attack.
Although Sky Sports reported that Barcelona had a third bid rejected by Chelsea last week, fresh reports say Real Madrid have made a first bid for the Brazilian’s services and that will be a welcome boost to Chelsea who are looking to offload the 29-year old for the promising Bundesliga star.
Chelsea however, will not find it easy to sign the American star given the competition. The Daily Mail reveal interest from Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.
