Chelsea winger Willian has brushed away the talk that he is ready to quit the club for a another this summer insisting ‘this is not the time’ for such a conversation.
Willian is currently with Brazil in Russia for the World Cup and after his explosive performance against Mexico in the round of 16 at the tournament, he looks forward to facing Belgium in the quarters.
The 29-year old has been linked heavily to Manchester United and a link up with international teammates Philippe Coutinho and Paulinho at Barcelona with the latter even said to have had a bid of £50 million rejected by the Blues last week.
But the former Shakhter Donestk advanced play maker will not be drawn into the talk of moving out of Stamford Bridge this summer, as he focuses on playing for Brazil. Willian admits to hearing the rumors but says most of them are internet speculations.
“Well, they are excellent players with a lot of quality. In addition to great players, they are very good friends. People speculate a lot. We see a lot of things on the internet, but this is not the time to talk about this. I’ve not received any information about that. I’m trying to focus on my performance, playing for Brazil.”
