Chelsea are one of the top clubs in London and are now considered one of the favorites to sign Yaya Toure as a free agent, according to his agent, Dimitri Seluk.

The Ivory Coast international’s agent did not mention the club his client will sign for when he leaked information that the player has passes a medical in London, but he stated clearly that Toure is not signing for Crystal Palace or West Ham United.

Yaya is a Man City legend having played eight years of his career at the Ettihad stadium only to be relegated to the fringes by Pep Guardiola when the Spain coach arrived at the club in 2016. Frictions between the pair went unsolved until late in his stay at the club.
The former Barcelona midfielder has yet to announce his next destination in the Premier League but reports indicate it could be Chelsea or Tottenham Hotspur who could sign him up if the words of his agent are to be believed.
The Blues though, have an overflow in their midfield and should stay clear of Yaya, but Spurs on the other hand might be in need of a top midfielder to join their ranks and Mauricio Pochettino would welcome the combative midfielder in his team, after going the entire summer without a single purchase.
