Chelsea are currently over-flooded in their midfield, with Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic joining the already star studded squad this summer.
Cesc Fabregas, Danny Drinkwater, N’Golo Kante and Ross Barkley are already battling for spots under Maurizio Sarri but the arrival of the summer purchases will throw their future out of the window, with some of them expected to be discontented at the number of minutes available this season.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek is one of the fringe players who could sit out a number of games this season, but club legend John Terry has told the club on his Instagram feed, that the youngster’s time is now to enjoy minutes as a first team player at Chelsea.
