N’Golo Kante has trended in the last few days after it was revealed that he is set to receive a massive pay rise at Chelsea to keep him at the club well beyond his current contract.
The Blues were looking to arm themselves well as a number of top clubs were keeping tabs on his situation at Stamford Bridge and the offer of £290,000 per week was going to fend off interest from suitors, as it will mean they up the offer when they come in for him.
Now the Mirror report that Chelsea’s offer apparently may have pushed Paris Saint Germain to move even more intensely for the tireless midfielder and the French giants are willing to offer him more than the proposed slaary increase in London.

The report says ‘PSG have the finance to trump even that offer and to test the west Londoners’ determination to hold on to their star man’ and this might set the stage for a very interesting end to this transfer window.
