Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Callum Hudson-Odoi must wait to find out their fate when Chelsea take on BATE Borisov in the Europa League on Thursday, but Andreas Christensen is set to start the game according to head coach Maurizio Sarri.
The Chelsea tactician claims he is not sure if budding youngster Hudson-Odoi will play a part in the game but is a bit more positive on Loftus-Cheek’s chances when discussing the team news in the pre-match presser on Wednesday.
Sarri on squad rotation to me: "Christensen will be on the pitch, Ampadu is out, Hudson-Odoi, I don't know. Loftus-Cheek, maybe." #CFC #UEL

Ethan Ampadu’s absence is not much of a surprise after he picked up an injury while on international duty with Wales.
Andreas Christensen will be restored to the starting line up after missing the Premier League clash with Manchester United last Saturday. He has struggled to break into the Chelsea team this season and has reportedly asked to leave the club in the coming transfer windows.
He will take the chance with both arms and hope it turns up a great audition as a suitor for the centre-back role. So will the other youngsters who could play a part in the game on Thursday. Whether they move or not from Chelsea, chances like this will not come often.
