“He has everything to be the best” – Eden Hazard shockingly predicts that one of his teammates will be the best in the world

Chelsea midfielder Ross Barkley is a player currently finding his way out of a one-season mess into the glorious world of rich talents, and after his best performance in a blue shirt last weekend, Hazard says his teammate can be the best in the world in his position.

The former Everton midfielder is currently enjoying some faith by Maurizio Sarri who rates him highly enough to pick him ahead of strong candidates for a role in midfield. Barkley started in Chelsea’s 3-0 win over Southampton last Sunday and produced his best display so far since signing in January.

He grabbed the game’s first assist when he laid on a pass to Hazard to find the opener in the first half, before finding the back of the net himself in the second half.

Hazard, after the game, reveals his teammate who started only his third game of the Premier League season could become the best in the world if he keeps getting games to beef up his confidence.

“Confidence comes when you play games, so I think he is a fantastic player. He played a fantastic game. Of course, it is not just because he scored and got an assist. I think he is strong, you can see on the pitch, that he is very strong.

He had some bad moments last year and two years ago with injury but I think he can reach a fantastic level because he is a fantastic player. He is still young and I think he is a good player for the future of Chelsea.”
