Since John Terry retired from football this week, the tributes have been pouring in and some high profiled ones cannot be swept under the carpet, especially those that come with staggering praise.
Former Manchester United forward Wayne Rooney has called Terry his toughest opponent when he posted a picture of them ready to face off in one of the several top clashes between the two clubs.

Terry won several fans to him after a stellar career at Chelsea and although creating enemies along the way, it’s safe to say his displays earned him more friends than foes.
