Maurizio Sarri has detailed how his poor attempts at winning trophies in Italy will not be repeated at Chelsea as he aims to find silverware a bit easier to win in England.
The Italian coach has struggled through his career to win trophies and has often been lashed out at for playing a nice brand of football without winning cups. His days at Napoli projected his attacking philosophy, lauded around Europe but his biggest detractors point to his inability to win trophies.
But Sarri says the monopoly in Italy by Juventus means there is very little chance for any other side to win silverware be it the Serie A or the domestic cups.
Sarri on his lack of trophies record: "In Italy, it is not easy to win a trophy. In the last 7-8 years only Juventus win the trophies. In England it is difficult because we have 6-7 teams that can win so it is difficult but I am here to win. I want to win something." #CFC

In truth, Sarri is not far from the truth. Juventus have won the Italian Serie A in each of the last seven seasons while winning the Coppa Italia for the last four years.
With several teams in England having the chance to win the Premier League, FA Cup or the Carabao Cup, the opportunities seem more ready for Sarri to taste a first silverware triumph than in Italy and the Blues boss is ready for it.
