Maurizio Sarri reveals how ‘easy’ it is to ‘stimulate’ Eden Hazard after perfect start this season

Every human being needs objectives in order to fulfill their ambitions in any endeavor. Without targets, there’s no real chance an individual or team can attain success. So the importance of setting objectives can never really be underestimated.

Most folks achieve for the sake of achievement alone, or for the sake of developing skills and competencies, but ambitious people achieve first and foremost for the sake of the rewards of achievement, such as money, honor, or fame, which elevate them above other people as per psychologist Neel Burton.

According to Maurizio Sarri, his Chelsea star Eden Hazard needed a set of objectives to begin showing his real talents on the pitch. Hazard’s quality has never been in doubt although his goalscoring abilities have been. Before this season, the Belgium international had never been on a prolific run like this. His seven goals in eight games make him the Premier League most outstanding goalscorer, and put him above familiar names like Harry Kane and Sergio Aguero.

Having been tipped to leave Chelsea last summer for Real Madrid, just as his international teammate Thibaut Courtois did, the 27-year old stayed put and has not sulked, but instead has put in performances never before seen so consistently in the blue shirt.

His head coach, Sarri, believes his ‘important player’ has the right mentality to block the talk about his future from affecting his game while backing him up to get better with the ‘important objectives’ set for this season.

“He doesn’t get influenced by the media and what happens around him. As long as he’s having fun and he plays. And he loves playing football. It is easy to stimulate Hazard – as long as you let him have fun.

But you need important objectives for important players. And he can improve if he becomes a little bit more aggressive and gives the best of himself.”
