“We are not here to take photos” – Videoton captain promises to take fight to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge

If Chelsea planned to use their game against Videoton in the Europa League as a test case for most of their fringe players, they may have to rethink their plans after the captain of Vidi Roland Juhász warned they are not here for a vacation.

The Hungarian side lost their first game in the competition this season against BATE Borisov and are looking to bounce back immediately in the trip to Stamford Bridge. Although the Blues are considered huge favorites to win the game, due to the London club’s sheer size and quality in their ranks, Juhász promises his side will put up a better fight than many probably expect.

Maurizio Sarri knows how tricky the Europa League can be and understands why he cannot underestimate his opponents on Thursday, but he has been served a reminder that it can actually get worse in his side’s second game of the season after the slim 1-0 win against PAOK in the Blues first game.

Juhász is not new to playing football at Stamford Bridge after his early days at Anderlecht saw him lose by the slimmest of margins when his side played Chelsea in the Champions League in 2005. A Frank Lampard freekick won the game for Chelsea who boasted the likes of Didier Drogba, Arjen Robben and Michael Essien in their starting line up.

If not for anything, Chelsea cannot be complacent against the minnows from Hungary. There have been bigger shocks in football.
