Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri thinks Cesc Fabregas will be a great option to replace Jorginho in the deep-lying playmaker role in games where the Italian needs to be rested.
Jorginho is considered one of the untouchables in the Chelsea squad with his impressive displays behind the two attacking midfielders in Sarri’s 4-3-3. His ability to find teammates and dictate attacks makes him one of Sarri’s best players but in games when he has to be rested, Fabregas is likely to be the man among the midfield options that Sarri and his technical team have got, to take up the role.
Sarri revealed this in his pre-match press conference ahead of Chelsea’s Europa League clash with Vidi.
