A steady improvement and ability to play with teammates is the reason why Alvaro Morata is able to score as many goals as he has in past few games, according to Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri.
Morata has been a laughing stock among Premier League rival fans since his signing from Real Madrid until now, but his new found form in recent weeks will silence a few of the critics.
The Spain international has become a real hero for Chelsea, especially as his two goals eased the pressure on the Blues in their 3-1 win over Crystal Palace last Sunday. Morata added to the three Premier League goals this season after he put two past the Eagles.
His brace on Sunday means the former Real Madrid striker now has five goals in the top flight this season. Four of those have been scored in the last four games.
Morata’s rise to form silences a few lips against Chelsea and ultimately would bring in the points and Sarri says he has the potential to be even better.
Sarri on Morata: "I think so, Alvaro improved in the last month. Improved for the confidence and personality, I think. Also improved from a technical point of view. Now he is able to play more with the team. Alvaro has great physical and technical potential." #CFC #CHECRY

Sarri on Morata: "Drogba was one of the best in the world for 15 year. Alvaro is very fast, not in the first few steps but if he runs for 40 metres. He's strong, not like Drogba, he is a bit much but he has potential." #CFC #CHECRY
