Chelsea’s football strategy and philosophy under Maurizio Sarri has been spectacular to watch at times, but despite the fancy approach to games, the Blues seem to lack in goal quantity.
The Premier League giants will attempt to sign another forward in the next two transfer windows to beef up their attack. Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud have not been consistent enough, with the latter only getting his first Premier League goal last weekend after 13 weeks of action. The wingers have not done their fair share in front of goal and the last two league games have proved that.
Now the Mirror says the Blues top hierarchy are ready to sanction a deal with Borussia Dortmund to sign their young attacker Christian Pulisic. The deal is reportedly going to be worth a mammoth £70 million.
There have already been rumors that Pulisic has told his teammates in Germany that his future lies in England. Chelsea are not the only club interested in signing him with Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool all strongly linked with him.
