Chelsea are looking like a side that can really challenge the undisputed duo of Manchester City and Liverpool for the Premier League title, and their 11-game unbeaten run signals good times ahead but the future has dark spots for the imperfect ending.
Everything looks rather positive for Maurizio Sarri’s side at the moment. Chelsea are flying high in the league standings and their goal difference smiles on the rest of the top flight, but a major concern still lingers in defense.
Despite conceding only one goal in the game, Chelsea looked vulnerable each time Palace’s forward made direct runs at them. The Eagles forward line tore David Luiz and Antonio Rudiger apart at times in the game and eventually gave a goal away in the second half when the former misread a dangerous pass and let Andros Townsend through on goal.
Sarri might like to sort the backline out as soon as possible before things get messy and hurt his side’s title chances.
