Chelsea have made an offer for Real Madrid star Isco according to Spanish journalist Eduardo Inda.
The Spain international has been on the Blues main targets for a while now and were expecting to seal a move for him when Zinedine Zidane left as manager of the club last summer. Having been a key part of the Frenchman’s rule at the Santiago Bernabeu, the Daily Star reports he may have seen a fall in his stock at the club since the arrival of Santiago Solari who took over form Julen Lopetegui.
Should he not get the required number of games in the La Liga club this season, Isco will make up his mind on where to play his football next in his career.
According to Inda, Manchester City and Chelsea have tabled a bid for him already and wait on a decision by the attacking midfielder while stating emphatically that the player prefers the Premier League over other options.
“They consider that Isco is not involved in the group, that he is doing his thing, that he is having problems with his weight… so he is thinking of going to the Premier League.
He has an offer from Chelsea and another from Pep Guardiola at Manchester City.”
