Chelsea make final decision on Michy Batshuayi’s future should he return from Valencia loan deal

Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi has joined the club’s famous loan army for the last two years, moving from one club to the other in Europe’s top leagues but looks like now, the Belgium international will be staying in London a little while longer.

The 25-year old has been on loan at Valencia since the start of the season but his season-long deal is set to be cut off after reports say the head coach Marcelino García Toral is not totally convinced about keeping the player for the remainder of the campaign. He has played 21 times for Los Che but has amassed only 976 minutes, while he struggled for decent form in the La Liga.

Now according to the Belgian journalist Kristof Terreur, the Blues will offer him to Crystal Palace as they want to keep a close eye on him in the Premier League.

Should he join the Eagles in January, it will be the third club Batshuayi has played for in the last 12 months.
