This season would need to end before Chelsea fans can know where Eden Hazard will play next and that’s according to the Belgian winger.
The 27-year old has been in supreme form this season, bagging 10 goals and nine assists in the Premier League and five more in all competitions. The former Lille star is keen to join Real Madrid and had made comments publicly about joining Los Blancos after liting up the 2018 World Cup in Russia last summer.
Hazard scored a century of goals in the Chelsea shirt in the Blues 2-1 win over Watford last Wednesday but quickly affirmed his wish to stay become a legend like Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard. That dream means he has to stay at Stamford Bridge beyond this season and perhaps the next when his current deal expires.
Hazard now gives Chelsea fans hope that he might actually stay beyond this campaign after failing to confirm is he’s leaving for Real.
“I am just focused on the pitch.” The 27-year-old added: “I will see at the end of the season.”
